Tommy Wirkola's shark movie starring Phoebe Dynevor has an official title and release date.

Sony Pictures has announced that the previously untitled shark film is now called Beneath the Storm. The thriller will hit theaters on August 1, 2025.

Originally announced in May, plot details for Beneath the Storm are currently under wraps. However, sharks will be involved. Filming for the film began in Melbourne in July.

In addition to Dynevor, Beneath the Storm stars Whitney Peak and Djimon Hounsou. The shark thriller comes from Adam McKay and Kevin Messick, who will produce via their HyperObject Industries.
