Tamil star Dhanush’s much-awaited film Raayan is just a few days away from its release. Slated to hit the theatres on July 26, 2024, the film will mark the actor’s 50th project and his second directorial venture. After a long delay, the makers have finally unveiled the trailer.

Raayan's trailer shows Dhanush's fierce look and introduces other characters in the film. Moreover, it also gives a sneak peek into the plot details. The film also stars SJ Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in lead roles.
The one minute and 49 seconds clip starts with a glimpse of Dhanush's title character. The intense background score confirms serious drama and action in the film. Then Selvaraghavan's character, who is a mentor to Raayan, explains why Hyena is the most dangerous animal in the forest.
He uses this metaphor for the gangster drama. While the less powerful, including Raayan, are on one side of the war, the other side consists of a powerful competition including SJ Suryah and Prakash Raj. Raayan, however, is someone who would come like a ghost and finish everything.
