Following the popular music for Tron: Legacy, provided by Daft Punk, it has now been announced that Nine Inch Nails, headlined by Trent Reznor, will provide the music for Tron: Ares.

Reznor formed Nine Inch Nails in 1987. Frequent collaborator Atticus Ross officially joined the band in 2016.

Reznor and Ross previously scored films such as 2010's The Social Network, 2014's Gone Girl, 2023's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, 2024's Challengers, and many more.
