Boxing icon Manny Pacquiao said it was another proud moment for the Philippines after Filipino boxer Nesthy Petecio won her second Olympic medal.

Pacquiao congratulated Petecio on her bronze medal at the Paris Olympics and called her a true Filipino fighter.

“Another proud moment for the Philippines! 🇵🇭 🥉,” the former senator said in a Facebook post.

"Congratulations Nesthy Petecio for winning the bronze medal in boxing at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games! You showed the world the true spirit of a Filipino fighter. We are all incredibly proud of you. Salamat, Nesthy! Mabuhay ka! 🇵🇭 #ProudFilipino #ParisOlympics2024," the retired boxer said.
