Tyler Perry's Walkout: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Unpleasant Arrival at the Paley Honors
The Paley Center for Media will honor actor, writer, director, producer, studio owner and philanthropist Tyler Perry with its highest honor, The Paley Honors Award, at its Fall Gala in Los Angeles. The event will take place on Wednesday, December 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
Throughout his career, Perry has produced over 2,000 television episodes and directed, written, and produced 28 feature films. He began his career writing plays, many of which inspired his films, and has since continued to create memorable, bold characters, relatable stories, and blockbuster franchises, including the iconic Madea.
Perry, also a business leader and philanthropist, celebrated the historic opening of Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta in 2019.
