V-U2 An Immersive Concert Film in Sphere Las Vegas (Official Trailer)
Shortly after completing its opening residency “U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere,” U2 has announced the premiere of its “V-U2 An Immersive Concert Film at Sphere Las Vegas,” directed by Edge and Morgleigh Steinberg.
The shows, originally directed by Willie Williams, will be staged at Sphere from September 5. U2 began their residency at the state-of-the-art venue in September last year and have played to more than 700,000 fans 40 times through March.
“The goal was to bring the immersive filmgoers as close as possible to the live U2:UV concert experience — and then some,” says the Edge, who also produced the film with Bono, Adam Clayton and Alan Moloney. “I’ve never seen a U2 show before. I’m so relieved to have seen a great one.”
