V-U2 An Immersive Concert Film in Sphere Las Vegas (Official Trailer)
Directed by Morleigh Steinberg and band founder The Edge, V-U2 chronicles Irish megaband U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere’s September 2023–March residency. It’s the first film shot entirely using Big Sky’s Sphere Entertainment’s ultra-high-resolution camera system.
"The goal was to bring the immersive moviegoers as close as possible to the live U2:UV concert experience — and then some," The Edge said. "I've never seen a U2 show before. I'm so relieved to have seen a great one."
Steinberg added: "We knew all the amazing possibilities of the technology, but we didn't know what to expect from the process of making this film. The work became a true collaboration between band, artists, producers and technology teams. The end result is a cinematic experience that immerses viewers in the energy and beauty of the live show."
