According to the episode and CBC, after Lee Antoni returned home from Saskatchewan and found his wife's body, he told the dispatcher that there was blood everywhere. According to the recording, Lee was crying hysterically during the call and revealed that her wife was "cold." Police noted that there were no signs of forced entry and no indication that the incident was motivated by a robbery. However, they did find that a chair had been overturned. Additionally, Amanda's husband found her phone on the dining room floor.
