Developer Ballistic Moon and Sony Interactive Entertainment have announced the release date for Until Dawn Remake. Gamers won't have to wait long to get their hands on the campy star-studded horror game.

The Until Dawn Remake is set to release on October 4, 2024 for PS5 and PC. Along with the date reveal, a new trailer is also being released featuring comparison shots of the original and remake.

"As a team of Until Dawn fans and horror enthusiasts, it was not our intention to alter the events of that fateful night," Ballistic Moon Creative Director Neil McEwan said on PlayStation Blog. "Instead, we focused on giving the original game a cinematic update, creating a more intimate experience for the player by enhancing the visual storytelling."

As seen in the trailer, many of the changes are visual to give the game a more cinematic feel. Rebuilt from the ground up using Unreal Engine 5, Until Dawn Remake gets a visual overhaul that improves every graphical aspect of the game.
