As previously mentioned, Disney+’s upcoming Korean drama Uncle Samsik will see Yoo Jae-Myung and Seo Hyun Woo play two major roles in the series. Yoo Jae Myung’s character Jung Doo Sik has a strong personality and fierce presence. He has a close bond with Park Doo-Chil, aka Uncle Samsik. The character is complex, despite his extremely polite appearance.
According to Sports Soul, the series' director and writer Shin Yeon Sik spoke about the character and Yoo Jae Myung in an interview, saying, "He's a very difficult character… I couldn't think of any other actor other than Yoo Jae Myung, and he gave such a great performance."
