Uzo Aduba attended the premiere of Searchlight Pictures' “The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat” in Los Angeles on Friday night, shortly after attending the Democratic National Convention.
She told Variety that it felt like “a fine check had finally been cashed for the American dream” when she watched Vice President Kamala Harris accept the Democratic Party’s nomination for president.
“It felt like the promise of America was still moving toward fulfillment, and I think it makes me excited to know that despite what we've seen over time, the country is still pushing forward to be a more hopeful and inclusive nation,” Aduba said.
