Vanna White has worn 8,000 looks and counting during her Wheel of Fortune run, with only one dress she re-wore (a mistake her stylist discovered too late). "I've worn practically everything," says White. "I'm not picky."

So how do her outfits get chosen? Typically, a stylist brings 40 options to the studio and narrows them down to a dozen after White samples each one. “When I try them on, we’re like, ‘Does this work? Is this good?’” White says. One thing that rules a dress out of the running: “If I can’t lift my arms to the top level of the letters, I can’t wear it.”
The glamorous cohost prefers cocktail dresses, she says, "because I know I'm not going to trip." She also loves a bit of color — "I'm a bright pastel girl" — and has a dream dress: "If I had to choose, it would be a loose-fitting cocktail dress with sleeves. A lot of my dresses are strapless and require strapless underwear, which us ladies know isn't always comfortable, especially when you're moving."
But her absolute favorite is a light pink feather dress from 2016. "Pink is my favorite color," says White, "and the shape of the dress reminded me of a dress I had when I had Barbie dolls."
