Sunny Deol teams up with Varun Dhawan in "BORDER 2". A big announcement is coming in August

Varun Dhawan has joined Sunny Deol in the cast of Bollywood war epic "Border 2", Variety has confirmed.

The film is directed by Anurag Singh, who previously directed Akshay Kumar's film Kesari (2019), based on the Battle of Saragarhi, in which an army of 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans in 1897.

“Border 2” is a sequel to JP Dutta’s 1997 blockbuster “Border,” which also starred Deol in the lead role. In 1971, a small battalion of Indian soldiers battles a large Pakistani attack force in the Longewala border region.
