Venice Critics Week has announced the selection for its 39th edition, which runs from August 28 to September 7.

The seven titles in Competition include the debut film No Sleep Till by American-French filmmaker Alexandra Simpson, which is set against the backdrop of a coastal town in Florida in the run-up to a hurricane.
