EXCLUSIVE: Kestrin Pantera (Pretty Problems) is set to direct and star in an untitled indie film starring an A-list cast of comedic artists including “Weird Al” Yankovic (Weird: The Al Yankovic Story), Tia Carrere (Wayne's World), Jackie Tohn (GLOW), David Wain (Wet Hot American Summer) and The Sklar Brothers (What We Do in the Shadows), as well as Pantera's frequent collaborators Breeda Wool (UnREAL) and Sam Littlefield (Batwoman).

The film also features appearances from Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip), Sherry Cola (Joy Ride) and Rob Corddry (The Daily Show), among other celebrity cameos.
This is the first film from Pantera Pictures, which recently launched and focuses on women’s stories. The comedy follows a former rock star who has a hit record and moves her family to a picturesque town. There, she takes out her unfulfilled ambitions and anger at a fifth-grade science fair, sparking a fierce rivalry between her parents and starting a war.
Pantera is directing the film from its own script and is also producing through Pantera Pictures. Production is currently underway in Los Angeles.
