Filming for Welcome to Derry has wrapped.

Welcome to Derry is the upcoming HBO television series that serves as a prequel to 2017's It and 2019's It Chapter Two. The series originally began filming in May 2023, but was postponed due to the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strike.

Jason Fuchs, who developed the series with Andy and Barbara Muschietti, announced on social media that the prequel series has now wrapped production. "237 days of filming later… That pretty much sums up this season of Welcome to Derry," Fuchs wrote. "Surreal. What a ride. Can't wait for you all to see this."
