When Calls the Heart returns with the promise of "fresh starts, romance, community and reunion" in its 11th season, according to Hallmark Channel.

In the new episodes, premiering Sunday, April 7, schoolteacher Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) and Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) grapple with romantic feelings and, in her case, a change of style, while dealing with obstacles in their parenting.
Meanwhile, Governor Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) reckons with his past as he leads Hope Valley into the future, and ex-Mountie Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) and reporter Rosemary Coulter (Pascale Hutton) investigate a mystery that puts the town in danger. "This season explores renewal, redemption and, of course, romance as Hope Valley enters the 1920s," Hallmark added in a press release.
