In the viral video, Bill Murray explains why he thinks people voted for Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election. The video is an excerpt from a November 2016 interview by Tracks, a multilingual TV show available on Facebook.

Murray believed at the time that the Trump vote was a surprise, arguing that the rise of an anti-establishment vote had to do with "the fact that the country was dissatisfied with the way Washington has operated over the past few decades."

He continued: “They are lazy… and they hinder the other side, and they don't cooperate at all.” The point is that it is a “national disgrace.”
