Ako Bicol Party Rep. Raul Angelo Bongalon wonders why Vice President Sara Duterte is blaming the Marcos government for the unfunded flood control projects in Davao City, when they have ruled the city continuously for more than 33 years.

“Although the flood control project in Davao is a problem, the national government can do this… Bakit? Tingnan ho natin, magkakaroon lang po tayo ng brief history: ilang taon po ba sa panunungkulan ang pamilya Duterte sa Davao City? Kung hindi po ako nagkakamali 33 years,” Bongalon said.
Bongalon also noted that Davao City is among the cities receiving the highest allocation from the National Tax Allotment (formerly the Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA)).
“If you want to reach Davao City, you can go for the IRA or the Internal Revenue Allotment or the National Tax Allotment. Can you budget for your flood control project in building a kasalukuyang administration?” he asked.
