Latest NFL Injury News: Injury Expert Gives His Take on Aidan Hutchinson's Broken Tibia
Rhamondre Stevenson has been in the news recently due to an injury that has New England Patriots fans worried for an update. With his status uncertain, many are wondering when the running back will return to NFL action. Now, fans want an update on his foot injury. Read on to learn more.
Rhamondre Stevenson is out for the Patriots' Week 6 game after suffering a foot injury, which also kept him out of practice this week. The injury, caused by a helmet blow to his calf during the team's recent loss to the Dolphins, forced Stevenson to sit out all three practices. However, head coach Jerod Mayo assured fans that the injury is not considered long-term.
With Stevenson unavailable, the Patriots may have to adjust their running back options. Coach Mayo suggested that the team promote either Kevin Harris or Terrell Jennings from the practice squad. Antonio Gibson, who started last game, and veteran JaMycal Hasty remain on the active roster, and according to multiple reports, they will likely fill the void in Stevenson’s absence. Additionally, 11 players on the Patriots’ roster were listed as questionable for Week 6, adding even more uncertainty to the offense.
