Sabrina Ionescu is an American professional basketball player, currently playing for New York Liberty in the WNBA. Just half an hour before tip-off of the Wings vs. Liberty game, Ionescu's status was updated to 'out'. This was due to a neck injury, which seems to be a minor issue at this point. The injury reportedly bothered her during the previous game of the New York Liberty. However, they came out on top in a 79-67 victory over the Las Vegas Aces. The cause of the injury is still unknown.

Before joining the New York Liberty team in the WNBA, Sabrina played college basketball for the Oregon Ducks. She was an incredible performer at her level and is considered one of the best college players of all time. Ionescu has also made the Women's All-Star basketball team twice since joining the WNBA.
