According to the Netflix Tudum description for the Katie Walsh-directed documentary, Simone Biles Rising is a series that will chronicle “Biles’ preparations to resume her position at the top” and her “journey back to the Olympic stage.” Given that, the long break between episodes two and three in the release schedule is likely due to the filmmakers deciding to document her experiences during the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Biles won three gold medals in the women's team final, all-around and vault event, along with a silver medal on the floor exercise.
