GTC March 2024 Keynote with NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang
The biggest news in the business world this week is AI giant Nvidia and its multi-day conference GTC in San Jose, California, which brought together researchers, developers and other stakeholders from industries ranging from healthcare to automotive.
Hoping not to get lost in the hubbub surrounding the $2 trillion-plus company, representatives from the media and entertainment industry were in attendance. Richard Kerris, Nvidia's vice president of developer relations and head of media and entertainment, pointed to the company's history of content creation, claiming that M&E is part of the company's "DNA."
“We strongly believe that [AI] will be a workflow improvement if it’s used correctly, if it’s sourced correctly,” Kerris said in an interview with Variety Intelligence Platform. “With that comes a lot of responsibility to make sure that content is sourced correctly.”
