Miranda Hart has not yet revealed the identity of her new husband, whom she refers to as 'The Boy from Bristol' or 'The Mould Man' in her 2024 memoir I Haven't Been Entirely Honest with You. Speculation about the mystery man began last week when Hart wore a gold wedding ring. She confirmed her marriage to presenters Alex Jones and Alex Scott during her appearance on The One Show on Tuesday, October 8, and revealed that she met her eventual husband around two years ago. "I'm married, I got married at 51 and it's just so beautiful! I had written Gary for Miranda on screen and it wasn't until I was 49 that I met my person," she said.
Hart explained: "It's a little bit of an undercurrent in the book, I'm not going to reveal how we met because that's a bit of a twist." She added: "He's my best friend, we've had the most fun and I'm just really happy to be a young bride at 51."
