As reported by Sports Chosun, Jeon Do-yeon revealed that she initially didn't want to star in the 2024 Korean film Revolver. However, she later changed her mind and eventually joined the main cast of the film. She also revealed the reason behind it. According to the news outlet, she said, "I actually didn't want to do 'Revolver,' but I finally decided because of a promise… To be honest, I didn't want to do this job. I thought director Seung-wook Oh would write the script soon after he finished 'The Shameless.'"
