Interview: Edward James Olmos Talks a Quick Move, Why He Quit Riding Motorcycles at 25
"One Fast Move is an action-adventure thrill ride about a down-on-his-luck young man who seeks out his estranged father to help him pursue his dream of becoming a professional motorcycle racer," the synopsis reads. "With the help of his small-town love interest and a motorcycle shop owner who serves as his mentor, he begins to break down the walls built by his father's absence."
Tyler Treese: In One Fast Move you run a motorcycle shop and it's very clear that your character cares about everyone who comes in. What did you enjoy most about this role?
Edward James Olmos: Oh, I'm very grateful for it. It's a simple role. It's a guy who's just trying to live his life after making a bunch of mistakes that you learn a little bit about as the story goes on. But he has a backstory that's very dark and hard to process. At the same time, he's kind and respectful to people, even though it's set in a world that's pretty fast-paced, especially when it comes to the kind of racing that they do.
