8 miles – Start
Here's everything you need to know about the possible second installment of the 2002 film.
Rumors of the film's sequel began online with a Facebook post that dropped a poster (via The Direct). The poster appeared to be a sequel to 8 Mile, titled 8 Mile: Rise of a Legend. When fans began checking out the poster, it appeared that the film would continue Jimmy Smith's story 20 years after the events of the first film.
