KRAVEN TRAILER: Sony's Spider-Man changes, the rhino and things you missed
Today, August 14th, a new trailer for Kraven the Hunter dropped, featuring a quick blink-and-miss shot of Rhino wearing pants. Fans are curious as to why the character, who is depicted pantsless in the comics and most Marvel media, is wearing pants. Played by Alessandro Nivola, this Rhino is the second live-action version of the character following Paul Giamatti's brief appearance in 2014's The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
So, why does Rhino wear pants in Kraven the Hunter? Here's your answer.
The fact that the rhino is wearing pants in Kraven the Hunter is likely a creative decision by the creators. It is likely that the creators were inspired by the Hulk. In the comics and most Marvel media such as the MCU, the Hulk is depicted with ripped blue or purple pants and a torso that is almost always shirtless. This inspiration likely contributed to their decision to depict a rhino wearing pants and being shirtless.
