The situation is changing now that National Geographic has cancelled one of its longest-running series.
The Disney-owned cable network has canceled Wicked Tuna after its 13th season. The show, which hails from Lionsgate's Pilgrim Media Group, has aired on the network since 2012.
The story follows a group of fishermen from Gloucester, Massachusetts, as they use a rod and reel to fish for bluefin tuna.
