Trisha Krishnan recently essayed the role of an honest cop in the latest web series, Brinda. Streaming on SonyLIV, the web series has been entertaining the audience and has been getting a lot of love. As the web series has kept the viewers hooked till the end, they are curious to know if there will be a second season.

Apart from Trisha, the web series also stars Indrajith Sukumaran, Aamani, Ravindra Vijay, Anandsami, Jaya Prakash and Rakendu Mouli. According to SonyLIV, Brinda's official synopsis reads, "Young, socially awkward but morally grounded SI cadet Brinda stumbles upon a brutal murder with a chilling modus operandi. As the killer slips through her hands, she faces personal and bureaucratic turmoil, but the toughest challenge is the moral reckoning that could define her career and her conscience."

Brinda begins with the story of a young girl who is separated from her mother and brother due to the superstitions of their villagers. Later, Brinda, an honest sub-inspector, is seen after a case of a series of murders. Since these murders have something in common, Brinda digs deeper and eventually finds a clue. As a result, it is revealed that it was her brother, Satya, who was behind the murders.

Satya, posing as a businessman named Anand, wants to take revenge on every religious person. While he is trying to kill a large crowd, Brinda confronts him. When she cannot convince him even after revealing that she is his long lost sister, she kills him.
