During a briefing with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on the impact of Typhoon Carina in Bulacan on Saturday, July 27, Yulo-Loyzaga presented a diagram from the Biodiversity Management Bureau showing areas potentially affected by the oil spill.
An image from the Philippine Satellite Agency shows the oil spill reaching Bulacan.
“We are now looking for possible contamination that may occur in the wetlands and the shoreline areas, not only of Bataan, but we are also looking at Bulacan, and we are also looking at Pampanga, possibly Cavite because of Corregidor,” Yulo-Loyzaga said.
