The film Wolfs starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt will no longer be shown in theaters, but there will be a sequel.

Jon Watts' film will now have a limited theatrical release on September 20, 202, following its world premiere at the 81st Venice Film Festival. The film will hit theaters worldwide on Apple TV+ the following week, on September 27, 2024.
It follows a similar tactic to that used for Doug Liman's Matt Damon-starring heist thriller The Instigators , which also had a limited theatrical release this week and will hit Apple TV+ on Friday.
Despite the change in previous strategy for Apple Original Films like Killers of the Flower Moon and Napoleon, it’s unlikely Apple will follow through. The company still plans to release Brad Pitt’s F1 film theatrically first, followed by a streaming release.
