No premiere date has been set for Season 3 of the popular series as of press time, but new episodes are currently in production. Season 2 is set to air in early 2023, with Paramount having renewed the show prior to the Season 2 premiere.
Exact details about McHale's character in the series are being kept under wraps. The show's cast includes Melanie Lynskey, Sophie Nélisse, Juliette Lewis, Christina Ricci, Samantha Hanratty, Tawny Cypress, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Courtney Eaton, Lauren Ambrose, Liv Hewson, Steven Krueger, Warren Kole and Kevin Alves.
The official description for "Yellowjackets" says that the show is "the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls who play soccer and become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness. The series chronicles their descent from complicated but thriving team to wild clans, while also following the lives they've tried to piece together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really over and what began in the wilderness is far from over."
