In a recent Instagram story on Sunday, Efron shared a photo of himself working out on the deck of a house. In the caption, Efron said he was "happy and healthy" and thanked fans for all their well wishes. The post comes just days after Efron was hospitalized , but thankfully, everything seems to be going well for the actor.
On Friday, Efron was taken to the hospital after what his reps called a "minor swimming incident." It's unclear exactly what happened, but TMZ reported at the time that Efron was found in the pool of a villa in Ibiza by two workers who pulled him out of the water.
It is unknown if Efron was in distress, but the actor was subsequently taken to the hospital as a precaution, where he was promptly discharged a day later. Efron is currently in Europe to attend the ongoing Paris 2024 Olympic Games, for which he attended the opening ceremony a few weeks ago.
